Well we did it....our second FULL, five day, week of daycare since Emma's first week there!! Wow, its crazy to think she's been that sick. We'll see how long this healthy streak lasts since she just came off her second round of antibiotics...fingers crossed!
We had a pretty good weekend. Emma started swimming lessons on Saturday. I was a little worried about her not enjoying it but to my surprise we didn't have any tears. I think since we were in a new environment that she was more interested in checking everything out but, towards the end of the lesson she began to pay more attention and actually began to move her arms. We'll see how it goes....the lessons run until the end of July so I'm anxious to see what she's like in the pool at her last lesson.
At the beginning of our lesson. Believe it or not, Emma will actually stand on this little platform and "fall" forward into my arms and into the pool.
Our friends (Misty and Dayton) and their little girl (Alayna) are also taking lessons with us....apparently little miss thought watching Daddy and Misty was more interesting than being in the pool.
Emma did very well "swimming" on her back but again, more interested in what was going on outside the pool.
Sunday afternoon we attended a graduation party for our neighbor's daughter, Erin. It took a while for E to warm up (understandable so with 45-50 people there) and soon enough it was hard to keep her still. I do believe she has developed her first "crush" as she was just amazed with our neighbor's son, Hunter, and followed him wherever he went.
Here she is looking for Hunter and when I asked her where he went this was the response she gave me....as if she's saying, "I dunno!"
And of course....a picture for Daddy....his baby girl in front of a tractor! I tried to get her to stand next to it but everytime I turned to walk away and take her picture, she'd get scared and run. I guess it can be pretty scary when its ten times your size.

And of course I had to include this picture. This is what Miss Priss does the minute we walk in the door from daycare....sheer exhaustion but is just too stubborn to nap while there!!!
