On another note, we have yet again been battling the daycare illnesses. We had her in to the doctor's last Friday for her 15 month check-up and little miss was said to be in perfect health...haha! The next afternoon we were greated with a very cranky little girl who was running a 103.3 fever and by Sunday we had a nice little cough to add into the mix. I figured it might be a reaction to the shots she had at her check-up but when the fever persisted til Monday I figured I'd better give the doctor yet another call. Long story short....after a trip to the doctor on Tuesday that yielded nothing but a "Come back if she's still running a fever on Thursday..." and yet another appt. on Thursday....we finally got a diagnosis.....her first ear infection :( Poor kid has been non-stop sick since starting this daycare gig 6 weeks ago and according to the doctor it could be like this for a couple more months!!! I'm seriously reconsidering our decision!
Now that the antibiotics are finally kicking in, we of course had another eventful weekend. After a re-check at the doctor's Saturday morning, we all went out for breakfast at IHOP. E seemed to really enjoy people watching and was fasinated by the crayons and paper they gave her. She wasn't much interested in eating but overall did extremely well while Luke and I enjoyed our breakfast.

As you can tell... Emma felt right at home with these little guys!

They do have other exhibits at the zoo....turtles, meerkats, alligators, monkeys, etc...but we spent the majority of our time at the petting zoo area checking out the hogs, miniature horses and burros, sheep, billygoats, chickens, peacocks and alpacas.
And of course we couldn't bypass the water fountains...this kid gets SO excited whenever she sees water!

Mommy and Emmy playing on the frogs.
Sunday we spent as our lazy day! We took E back to the Farmer's Market in the morning to pick up some blueberries, peaches and strawberries....YUM-O! (The produce is ten times better than what you can buy in the grocery store, tastes WAY better and of course you're helping the economy by keeping the money local!!!) E was forunate this trip to try her first funnel cake and of course she loved it, as did Daddy and Mommy :0)
