It's finally here...spring that is...and minus the rain and allergies that seems to come with it, we couldn't be happier!! The good weather of course means that we can spend more time outside which is where Emma seems to be the happiest.
All in all, the week without Daddy here seemed to go by fast and only with a few minor bumps in the road (ie. falling down the stairs, nursing strike, etc.) We filled our time with trips out shopping, playing outside and just goofing off around the house.
We are not sure if E is coming down with her third cold of the season or if she's accquired our seasonal allergies but she has definitely been feeling a bit under the weather these past few days :( Perhaps it's because she's not feeling well, but E decided while Daddy was gone to stop nursing and although I was a bit concerned at first (not to mention totally uncomfortable!), I am so ready to stop. So I took the opportunity (along with some antibiotics) and finally weaned her! WAHOO! I'm glad to be done with that :)Life has been back to normal since Daddy got home. We spent the weekend doing yard work and planting flowers with Emma....well, all she wanted to do was play in the mud and with the garden hose...a good time all around.
We are looking forward to the holiday weekend. Gammy and Uncle Ryan are coming down for a visit, hopefully the weather stays nice!!!
