Well minus the chilly weather, the Easter weekend went well. Gammy and Uncle Ryan arrived on Friday morning and the fun began. It always amazes me the way Emma's face lights up when she see her Gammy, the two of them share a very special bond.
Daddy and Uncle Ryan spent the weekend re-roofing the tack house while Gammy and I spent time with Emma.

Emma is doing well with her signing these days. She will now sign "please" and "bird", along with trying to do "horse". She's pretty good with pointing to her ears, belly button, toes and nose and can also sign the animals when you point to them on her puzzle. I do believe she is talking, but some of it is still not real clear. She can say "yes", what I believe to be "that and this", "shoes", "no-no" and "night-night".
Easter Sunday we held our own little egg hunt for her at the house. I was amazed that she grasped the concept as well as she did. We still have her Easter basket and eggs out and the past two days she's wanted to egg hunt again....I guess she really likes finding them.
The expression on this last picture I think is priceless. Its as if she's saying, "What, that's it? That was too easy."
With the weather going back and forth between cold and warm, I'm seriously trying to get Emma in to some of the clothes she hasn't worn yet. This one is a family thing.... I know Abuelo will appreciate it :)
GO JAYHAWKS!!!
