The countdown begins....

for little Miss Sunshine's first birthday! I still can't believe!!! The other night I was looking back through her photo album and I just couldn't believe how tiny she use to be.
Take a look....eleven months ago today...

and then....this morning!

I still can't believe how big she has gotten. (Like the cheesy Mom that I am, I'll say this...) My little girl is growing up! :)
Its been a good week for us down here. We got a little snow which Mom thought was great but Emma didn't really seem to care...maybe next year she'll share my enthusiasm for the white stuff! Tuesday I thought it would be cool to let E watch a bit of history...the inaguration. For those of you who don't know, I have a strict "no tv" rule with Emma so this was a new event for her and one I just had to capture on film.

Maybe when she's in high school and learning about the first black President taking office, she'll ask me if I remember where I was that day and, being the good Mom that I try to be...I'll remember this picture, pull it out and show her what she was doing that historic day!

Maybe...maybe not. But hey, I thought it was a pretty neat idea!

I got a lot of requests for more video postings, so here's two more. They may be kinda boring but what do you expect an 11 month old to do.....

I just had to post this last picture. I'm not sure if you can tell but E's new thing is to wrinkle her nose when she smiles real big....I just love it!
