Down on the Farm

Horses...chickens...donkeys...billy goats....our weekend adventure with Miss Emma. No, we didn't take her to a petting zoo...welcome to the country life...we were just visiting some neighbors :)

Since Emma seems to love to be outside, regardless of how cold it might be, I decided to take her down to our neighbors the Berry's and let her see all the animals. I really think she had a good time and seemed to be just amazed with the horse named Cash. (The big, black horse in the backgroud of one of the pictures.) She just stood there patiently at the fence just waiting for Cash to lift his head and look at her. Each time he would, Emma would look at me, smile and giggle.

Speaking of how Miss E loves the cold. Below is a picture of her new favorite thing. Luke swears this is a sign that she's going to want to go to a college up North.

Emma is still quite the pistol these days. This child definitely knows what she wants and what she doesn't want...sometimes its pretty funny! She's really beginning to pick up the sign language we've been teaching her. Her latest signs are; hot, fish, book, water, and hat. I think its just great that she's beginning to sign more...Lord knows its a big help with trying to figure out what she wants or is trying to say.

We've got a busy weekend ahead of us. Remember the little girl who E had the play date with..well, Miss Alayna is turning one today and her party is tomorrow!!! Also, Luke is leaving for VA on Sunday...but have no fear, Gammy is arriving on Sunday for a week long visit ;)

Stay tuned for more.....
