Sorry I'm late...

but Friday morning I had a doctor's appt. and we've been out and about the rest of the weekend. Here's the little one's growing picture. 7 1/2 months... that's crazy!
Emma had a very busy weekend. Saturday morning we took her to the Walk to Remember to celebrate and remember the life of her big brother Jackson and the other babies who's lives were cut too short. She seemed to really enjoy herself and even fell asleep in her stroller (thank God!). It was also the first time she got to meet some of our friends and their new babies. And what a surprise, Dr. Rivard was there and got to see Emma for the first time since she was only a couple of days old :)

After the walk we decided to grab some lunch and Miss E got her very first restaurant experience at the Macaroni Grill. She did very well; lounging in her stroller the entire time and only a couple of times experimenting with her vocal range!
After lunch, since we were in GSO, we decided to drop by the hospital and see some of the nurses that helped us get through our pregnancy/delivery! They were thrilled to see her and of course she loved the attention. After all the excitment it was time for home. We spent the rest of the evening relaxing and just hanging out.

Today has been a pretty lazy day after all the comotion yesterday. We began experimenting with some finger foods this morning and as of now its more about learning how to use her fingers rather than about actually eating. Luke absolutely hates this (he doesn't like the mess) but I think its kinda cool! I guess I just like watching her grow-up and this is one of those times.

That's pretty much it from here. Emma and I are getting ready for Daddy's birthday tomorrow (we may have a few surprises up our sleeves) and Luke's spending the day cutting the grass and weed-eating. Hope you all are enjoying this beautiful weather!
