That's right, despite the two month hiatus, we are all alive and doing well. I apologize for "taking some time off" but I needed a break. I promise though to try and get back in the swing of blogging!
During my much needed break I failed to capture much of anything on film so I decided to update more on how and what E is doing these days and make a conscious effort to pull the camera out more often.
Where to start?? As usual, this little girl is non-stop on the go and growing up SO fast. We have definitely entered what Luke and I hope will be the final and worse stage of the terrible twos. Despite this child's amazing vocabulary (I'll give some examples later), we are still faced, at least once a day, with a meltdown/temper tantrum. Generally these "moments" are the result of frustration but I can honestly say there are some that are just straight defiance.
E continues to love school (despite the fact that she has been bitten quite a few times) and her teacher, Ms. S. To be honest I was actually dreading this summer because I knew the time would come for E to move up to the next classroom. I know that I should probably be excited for this transition but I dread the effects the change in routine will have on her sleep patterns and its just another reminder of how fast she is growing up.
Anyway....I guess I'll start with the basics of life at 2 1/2....

I'm sure that there are a ton of things I'm forgetting off this list but hey, that's the story of life these days.
I promise to be a better blog Mom but bear with me! I've taken a few pictures over the last couple of days and will try and get them posted before the end of the week.
Oh yeah, a quick update on the parents in the household.....
For those of you who don't know, Luke took a new job a few months ago. He is still with Unisys, but now works for the commercial side. The change has kept him busy but he is really enjoying it. As for me, I am still keeping busy with school, work, and other various things. I've got a big trip/vacation planned for August (for which I will be starting another blog) so keep a look out for a link to that page.
Until next time.....
