I was going through the cameras and happened to come across a few pictures that I never posted so I thought I'd include them with the pictures from over the past week.
A lot of people have asked how E's allergic reaction turned out so I thought I'd do a little follow up post since I came across this picture. Thankfully, after a round of steroids and a week on Benadryl the hives began to disappear. The doctor warned us that they would get worse before they got better and they indeed did. Below is her "clown face"...the red cheeks are the hives.

Having never dealt with hives, I was surprised to learn that after the red hive fades it turns into what looks like a bruise (see below). Needless to say, E definitely looked like she had taken quite a beating.

Here's Miss Picasso herself enjoying her chalk board/magnet board/dry erase board. Love it!!

Building sand castles.

First time going out in the boat. Don't let the expression fool you, she loved it. Monkey even tried to climb over the side of the boat and get in the water!!

Riding in her new "big girl" carseat on the way to the zoo.

On the way home from the zoo. I guess it wore her out :)

Driving with Daddy!
I'm working on a big post to mark E's 18 month "birthday" so check back for that in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, we hope you all stay cool in this outrageous heat.
Kelly and Luke,
ReplyDeleteEmma is just a DOLL Baby! I was so sorry to hear she had the H1M1 but hopefully she is on her way to recovery from that. I cannot get over how much she has grown. What a cutie she is and I can tell you are getting so much joy from her. Take Care. KVeno
