Good morning snow!!!

After three days of continuous rain, mother nature seemed to want Emma and I to officially hang up our outside play time and dumped about 5 inches of snow on us Monday morning.

Of course after three days of only playing on the front porch, I was determined not to let a "little" snow get in our way. So, we pulled on our mittens, zipped up our snow boots (well, E wore plastic baggies over her sneakers!) and headed outside.

Apparently even though Emma loves being outdoors, it has now become conditional. Okay, so maybe I pushed it a little soon (cabin fever is a bad thing), but 20 degree weather with probably 15 mph winds isn't exactly something my daughter likes...well, at least not at first. She seemed to "warm-up" to it after a while but needless to say, our outing didn't last very long.

FYI, Daddy left today so its a "girls only" rest of the week....stay tuned :)
