We survived...

E's first cold and the fourth tooth and I couldn't be happier that its now behind us. Truth be told, Emma did put up a good fight. She was a real tooper thru all the nasal suctioning (yuck!!!), saline drops (I still don't see why babies can't use Afrin, it would be a whole lot easier), temperature taking (that's gotta be unpleasant!) and force feedings. Unfortunately she's working on another two teeth and I'm hoping they will come quick and painlessly.

Here's little Miss's growing picture from this week. Its still amazing to think that in just a little over a week she'll be ten months old.

She's still as busy as ever...crawling, cruising, talking (we've moved onto the "lalalalala" sounds which are oh so cute to hear) and just exploring everything she can get her little eyes and hands on. Napping is still a no-go for her but I really think she's just too interested in the world right now to be bothered with sleeping...although I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that she'll eventually give in; in the meantime I'll just try and keep my sanity :0)

FYI, we'll be leaving this Thursday for our trip home to VA and I won't be doing any blogging while we're away. So... we wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas and check back here around New Year's for another major blogging session!!!!
